DO NOT USE SIERRA (Stylist). Came to get a trim off the top to make sure my hair wasn’t too long for an upcoming camp. I asked her to make sure the length of my hair wouldn’t be drastically different after the cut but to make sure it was trimmed and cleaned up. I asked her to take a little off the top and then proceeded to take more than an inch off and I look like I used to when I was 12. Complete joke and Sierra acted like she ran the place. This employee needs to be fired. People have important events coming up and just want to get a clean up or a short trim and get screwed just by coming in. Obviously new employee that should have never been hired.

Do not let Serea do your hair. Terrible stylist, I asked for a trim and she practically took off an inch and a half. Won’t be going back.

I have been coming to Sports Clips Montgomery for almost 3 years and have had overall great haircuts and services every time I go. Today I went for a short trim and for the first time picked a specific stylist for my haircut, since she did such a great job for my hair type the last time I was there. The wait time when I signed in was one hour which wasn’t outside the range of manageable. I got in and waited and hour and a half in total (one hour in the store), and had three different parties go in front of me who were not in the store more than a few minutes. I wouldn’t have thought anything of it until two other people sat down while I was getting my hair cut with out waiting the hour time they were told because they “got in at the right time”. There was nothing from the staff saying “sorry for your wait” once I got in and no apology for the added time I was there. When I got in the chair I asked for a short trim in the back, no other length taken off, and to thin my hair out all around. My hair is much thicker and longer than the normal shorter clipper style cuts the staff performs regularly, but they have always given me a great haircut regardless of my particular type of hair. After the initial trim, my stylist thinned all around my hair and asked “is that thin enough”, I asked if she can take some more thickness off of the top and as she began cutting I realized that she was taking length off the top not thinning it out (two different types of scissors). I quickly asked if she could thin instead of cutting but she had already cut the majority of the top of my hair a shorter length then I desired (since I originally requested no length be taken off at all). She quickly thinned out a small portion of my hair and proceed to finish up with out saying anything about the obvious mistake she did. I was very frustrated with not only the lack of communication while waiting longer than expected, but nonchalant attitude to messing up my hair and not following the type of cut I requested from the beginning. The store was busy, but I felt rushed out and pushed aside through the entire process, which was far outside the normal quality I get here. After being a long time customer I will be returning to Montgomery Sports Clips in the future, but I hope the quality and service returns to what it has been prior and the request of the customer are followed with more attention than I experienced today.
